Hello Avatar! :D

Wow!
What to say?

It's been only a couple of months since I found SL.
But a very hectic 2+ months.

I've been doing a lot of exploring, shopping and going to classes.

Found out I love to build and develop.
Mostly Landscaping, Terraforming and creating beautiful environments.
Trees, flowers, waterfalls, caves, etc. etc. etc.

My good friend Caro fills in the gaps by loving to build clothes, hair and jewelry as well as furniture and the more detailed decorative work.

I told her she makes beautiful things to wear and I make beautiful places to wear them. LOL

Joined NCI (New Citizens Incorporated ) and got lots of help and free classes there.
Secondlife URL (SLURL) to New Citizens Incorporated Here

Great group for all newbies - new and old.
Lots of free help there....

Along with tooooo many freebies LOL.
Went freebie crazy the first month and now am paying the price.

The dreaded Inventory Bloat.
Over 35,000 items in inventory before I started to clean up.
Glad to say its down to a dull roar of 23,000 and dropping.

My New Years Resolution?
To decrease Inventory Bloat.

Following Torley Lindens tutorial I've offloaded my objects to an Alternate AV
Deleted 5000 free scripts and just kept the boxes.

Have gotten a great Texture Organizer - Imitation of Life -here

Have become an affiliate vendor for them so if anyone wants to buy through me, IM me inworld.

And am putting all my precious textures into it.

It holds sculpt maps and even previews them as Sculpties.
Also got one for my Alt AV and can offload textures as well to clean up.

Yesssss my preciousssss nice hobbit Alt AV will keep precioussss textures very well in crafty TO

Found out about:

Torley Linden and his wonderful tutorials on:
SecondLife Showcase

He has some great video tips and tricks here

I recommend you visit his Here Island and play with things.
I learned to Terraform in his sandbox.
Lots of fun.

Torley YOU ROCK !!! :D

Found lots of videos about SL and how-tos over at YouTube
YouTube.com

Spent lots of time in sandboxes and joined two I liked
Fermi gets kind of full and hectic but lots of people there to help
Sunbelt quiet underwater buiding site - great classes and nice people there and Sunble University (Hi Onna!! :) )

rented some land, a loft and a waterfall home

Tried each out to see what I liked best.

finally settled on an island in a private estate with loads of prims to play with

made lots of great friends and spent time listening to others and their ideas.

Was asked to teach, but am a newbie to that as well....

So I signed up to be trained to teach in SL.
So I'm now a Fermi University Trainee.

All this and still kept up with RL

22222 much!!!!

Also heard about the Openland changes and the Open Grid.

Joined Openlife Grid as well.
Downloaded my own Standalone Server

Keeps crashing on me, but when I get time I'll figure that out.
LOL

Bought some regions over at Openlife and am beginning to develop them with some friends

Lots of other things going on as well.

Only on the Grid.
It's wonderful how much you can do in a small time on the Grid.

So many possibilities and so little time.
So I guess I'll try to write something each day to share what I experience in hopes that it will help others to see the possibilities for themselves.

Take care
Cya later on the grid
